Data deletion

Last updated: October 20, 2026

1. What this page covers

Codit, a product of SteinStack LLC, uses Facebook Login when you connect a Meta ad account, a pixel, or a WhatsApp Business number to your Codit workspace. This page explains how to end that connection and how to have the data Codit holds about you deleted. It complements our Privacy Policy.

2. Remove Codit's access from Facebook

On Facebook, open Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations (or Apps and websites). Find Codit and choose Remove.

From that moment Codit's access token no longer works: Codit can no longer read your ad accounts, receive WhatsApp messages, or send conversion events on your behalf.

You can also disconnect from inside Codit: the Ad accounts page removes a Meta ad connection, and the WhatsApp page disconnects a WhatsApp number.

3. Ask us to delete your data

You can delete your account yourself in Codit, under Settings, then Security, then Delete account.

Or email contact@codit.ma from the address on your account, with the subject "Data deletion request". Tell us whether you want only your Facebook-related data deleted or your whole account. We confirm the request and complete it within 30 days, and may ask you to confirm your identity first.

4. What is deleted, and when

When you remove a Meta or WhatsApp connection, Codit stops using it at once. When your account is deleted, it is removed and anonymised after a 30-day grace period, during which you can contact us to cancel. If you are the last administrator of a workspace, the workspace is deleted with it, including its ad connections, access tokens, ad accounts, WhatsApp number, orders, and customer data.

Payment records and invoices are kept for as long as Moroccan tax and accounting law requires.

5. Data already shared with Meta

Conversion events Codit has already sent to Meta, with phone numbers and email addresses hashed, and WhatsApp messages already delivered, are held by Meta under its own terms. To manage that data, use Meta's own tools, such as Off-Facebook Activity and your Meta Business settings.

6. Contact

For any question about deleting your data, contact contact@codit.ma or write to SteinStack LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
